Product Introduction:

The laboratory vacuum paddle dryer mainly consists of a shell, a rotating shaft and fan-shaped paddle teeth. Vacuum paddle dryers are suitable for drying paste-like, pasty, granular, powdered and fibrous materials. Especially for heat-sensitive materials and drying operations that require the recovery of organic vapors, vacuum paddle dryers have many advantages.

Product Description:
1.Working Principle of Laboratory Vacuum Paddle Dryer
The vacuum rake dryer is mainly composed of a shell, a rotating shaft and fan-shaped rake teeth. Unlike paddle dryers, the rotating shaft and rake teeth of vacuum paddle dryers serve as heating surfaces, which function to stir the material and renew the surface. The rake dryer operates under vacuum. Firstly, wet materials are added into the dryer. A heating medium (usually steam or hot water) is introduced into the jacket. Then, the vacuum pump is started. Once the specified vacuum degree is reached, the stirring device is activated. By the forward and reverse rotation of the fan-shaped rake teeth, the materials are continuously pushed towards the middle and both ends during the drying process. Through these measures, It can ensure the timely renewal of the heat transfer surface, thereby accelerating the rate of heat and mass transfer. When the material is dried to the specified moisture content, stop heating, turn off the vacuum system, take out the dried material, and complete one cycle of operation. This type of dryer is suitable for drying paste-like, pasty, granular, powdered and fibrous materials. Especially for heat-sensitive materials and drying operations that require the recovery of organic vapors, vacuum paddle dryers have many advantages.
The fan-shaped rake teeth of the vacuum paddle dryer have two basic forms: left and right. Whether left or right, there are two types: special-shaped and paddle type. When installing, the adjacent rake teeth should be positioned at a 90-degree Angle. Special-shaped rake teeth should be installed at both ends of the shaft, while the rest should be equipped with paddle-type rake teeth. When the shaft rotates, the material, under the action of the stirring shaft, first moves to both sides and then to the middle. This ensures that the material remains in a uniformly stirred state throughout the entire drying process.
The commonly used drying medium for vacuum paddle dryers is generally steam, heat transfer oil or hot water with a pressure of 0.1 to 0.3Mpa. The vacuum degree inside the dryer is 50 to 90kPa, the filling rate of the material is 30% to 80%, and the thermal efficiency is 70% to 80%. The rotational speed of the shaft is 4 to 10r/min.
